Bitmine Immersion Technologies purchased an additional 10,452 Ether in the past week, bringing its total Ether holdings to 6.051933 million.
According to the company's treasury update on October 26th, Bitmine repurchased another 2.04 million shares in the past week at an average repurchase price of $22.48, bringing this year's total repurchases to 22.9 million shares.
The company stated that these repurchases cost a total of $399.6 million, with an average repurchase price of $17.48 per share.
Chairman Tom Lee stated in the accompanying statement: 'This is the largest ordinary share repurchase by a crypto treasury company to date, reflecting our commitment to our shareholders.'
During the same period, Bitmine continued to buy Ethereum, and as of October 25th, their holdings increased to 6,051,933 coins.
Calculated at the company's reference price of $2,356, the value of its Ethereum treasury is approximately $14.26 billion, while its total assets in cryptocurrencies, cash, tradable securities, and other investments amount to about $15 billion.
The latest repurchase of Bitmine is part of its stock repurchase plan, which is carried out in parallel with its Ethereum accumulation strategy.
Lee indicates that, as long as market conditions permit and the repurchase activities are still within the existing authorization scope, management intends to continue repurchasing shares when they deem that the trading price of BMNR is below its relative value.
He said, "Optimizing shareholder value remains our top priority."
Earlier this year, Bitmine carried out a large-scale buyback. In July, during the week when its Ethereum treasury reached 5.79 million coins, the company repurchased 6.1 million coins.
As of October 5th, according to the data reported earlier by crypto.news, the cumulative repurchases have reached 21 million shares, and the company continues to increase its holdings of ETH.
Calculated based on the average purchase price stated in the report, the latest repurchase of 2.04 million shares cost approximately $45.9 million. Based on the reference price on October 25th, the Ethereum purchased during the same period for Bitmine was valued at about $24.6 million.
Lee indicates that despite the challenging environment in the crypto market recently, the company believes its situation over the past year has improved. He expects Bitmine to benefit from the next round of crypto market rebound, but this remains the judgment of the management.
Bitmine currently holds approximately 4.95% of the 122.2 million ETH that have been disclosed to date in Ethereum's supply, just 1% away from its long-term accumulation goal.
The company refers to this strategy as "the Alchemy of 5% ( Alchemy of 5% )". Since the launch of this plan on June 30, 2025, they have been purchasing ETH every week.
Calculated based on the latest supply, holding exactly 5% would require approximately 6.11 million ETH. Therefore, under the current supply estimate, an additional 58,067 tokens of Bitmine are needed to reach this level.
Lee Previously, 5% of the holding target was described as the upper limit of the company's accumulation plan.
Bitmine's recent buying pace has slowed down. An update on October 19th showed that the company purchased 12,535 units of ETH, whereas the purchase volume for the week ending October 4th was 15,112 units.
Nevertheless, the company continues to make weekly purchases and also allocates a significant amount of capital to stock repurchases.
Lee remains optimistic about the crypto market, despite the recent weakness in the market. He stated that Ethereum has fallen by 13% from its recent high, while during the same period, US semiconductors ETF SOXX have fallen by 20%.
"We believe that this further proves that an encryption bull market is unfolding," said Lee.
In addition to the treasury, Bitmine also disclosed holding 215 bitcoins, $514 million in cash and tradable securities, $180 million in Beast Industries shares, as well as a $76 million position in Eightco Holdings.
Its investment in Beast Industries connects the company with the business of MrBeast, which has been exploring financial services involving encrypted payments and decentralized finance.
Beast Holdings has recently received notifications of approval for trademark applications in the financial services sector, which include cryptocurrency exchanges and payment processing-related businesses.
Bitmine remains the largest holder of enterprise Ethereum funds globally and ranks second among listed crypto fund companies in terms of disclosed holdings, only behind Strategy.
On June 26, the company was included in the Russell 1000 index, and its Series A preferred stocks are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the code BMNP.
The company's institutional supporters include Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, Pantera, Kraken, DCG, Galaxy Digital, and Bill Miller III of ARK.
