News from the IT community on October 27th: NECPC has released three new laptop models today according to Japanese local time. The new LAVIE X14 and LAVIE S13 models are based on the 3rd generation Intel Core Ultra processor “Panther Lake”, while the new LAVIE N13 model is based on the 3rd generation Intel Core processor “Wildcat Lake”.

LAVIE X14

LAVIE X14 ( X1475 / NAS ) is equipped with a Core Ultra 7 processor. It uses carbon fiber material, features a 14-inch WUXGA touch screen, has an integrated 99.9Whr battery, weighs only 1021 grams, and has a thickness of 18.9 millimeters. This model comes with 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, as well as RJ-45 and microSD card readers.

LAVIE S13

LAVIE S13 ( S1375 / NA , S1355 / NA ) is aimed at the student community. In addition to the classic silver/black options, it also offers ice purple as a third color choice.

It comes with an optional Core Ultra 7 processor with a speed of 355, or a Core Ultra 5 processor with a speed of 322. It is equipped with a 13.3-inch WUXGA touch screen, has a built-in 76.1Whr battery, weighs 1099 grams, and has a thickness of 12.9 millimeters.

LAVIE N13

The lower-end model, LAVIE N13, is based on the Core 5 processor and features a 320 display. It is also equipped with 2 USB-C 10Gbps ports, 2 USB-A 5Gbps ports, and a microSD card reader. It has a built-in 54Whr battery, weighs 1177 grams, and has a thickness of 15 millimeters.
