- Janus Henderson will introduce the licensed NASDAQ 100 index exposure into Stellar.

- The fund is supported by infrastructure provided by Centrifuge, and this comes at a time when institutional tokenization continues to expand.
Janus Henderson has launched JQQQ. This is an investment fund that is native to the blockchain and has been authorized to track the NASDAQ 100 index, bringing the exposure of some of the largest technology companies in the United States onto the Stellar network.
The announcement on October 27 marks an important advancement in the field of tokenized securities, as the fund is managed through a mature asset management framework and utilizes official NASDAQ index authorization.
According to The Wall Street Journal, JQQQ is built on the infrastructure of Centrifuge. In its initial phase, it is targeted at qualified professional investors outside of the United States, with a minimum investment of $100,000.
Janus Henderson brings NASDAQ 100 onto the blockchain through Stellar
According to the official announcement, JQQQ operates as an independent investment portfolio of Anemoy Capital SPC Limited, with Janus Henderson Investors serving as the deputy investment manager.
The fund seeks to track the NASDAQ 100 index, which includes large companies such as NVIDIA, Apple, and Microsoft.
This launch is built upon the foundation of Centrifuge's previous work in bringing the S&P 500 onto the blockchain, indicating that major stock indices are gradually entering blockchain-based investment products.

However, this new structure does not automatically provide unrestricted trading, instant redemption, or direct ownership of the companies represented by the indices.
The tokenized asset market of Stellar has surpassed $4 billion in scale.
Coinciding with the launch of this product on Stellar, the institutional financial infrastructure of this network is also expanding.
Centrifuge indicates that the real-world asset market on Stellar has exceeded $4 billion in 2026, with supporting assets including tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds, credit products, and other financial instruments.
Coinpaper previously reported on the growth of Stellar's RWA; the market size was less than $1 billion at the beginning of the year, but then it accelerated significantly.
The network also plans to connect with the tokenization services of the American Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation ( DTCC ), and it is expected that assets related to DTC will appear in the first half of 2027.
Janus Henderson's broader portfolio of tokenized products now includes U.S. Treasury bonds, structured credit, and other products linked to stocks.
With the launch of this NASDAQ 100 product, its product line has been extended to one of the most closely watched stock benchmarks in the world.
JQQQ Why It Has Caught Attention
At the time of the launch of this product, financial institutions were rethinking how traditional securities should be issued and transferred.
This release also follows the tokenization of stocks on Solana; reports indicate that the number of related holding addresses has recently reached 1.5 million.
At the same time, Securitize has also launched tokenized U.S. stocks for eligible American investors, indicating that different networks are exploring various market structures.
