Clerwater, Florida, October 28, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Digital fitness and nutrition company FASTer Way launches artificial intelligence assistant Lumi. The company states that Lumi brings intelligent capabilities to every aspect of the FASTer Way experience.

According to FASTer Way, Lumi has been integrated into the company's redesigned applications. It is capable of learning from every meal, exercise session, daily steps, and every drink recorded by members, and based on this information, it recommends training routines and dietary suggestions while tracking progress in real-time. The company states that Lumi is used in conjunction with over 3,700 coaches who have guided more than 585,000 members; this model combines cutting-edge artificial intelligence with irreplaceable coaching services.

FASTer Way indicates that Lumi starts from "taking photos." Members can take photos of their meals or provide a summary of what they ate, and Lumi can then identify the food, calculate the macronutrients, and automatically record the meal without the need for searching or manual entry. The company claims that on average, the recording time for each meal is less than 30 seconds. Members can also share their dietary preferences, and Lumi will generate recipes and ready-to-use shopping lists to help them achieve their macronutrient goals.

FASTer Way also stated that, despite the powerful functionality of Lumi, this is not the fundamental reason why FASTer Way is effective. The company claims that no algorithm can perceive when members are in trouble, celebrate hard-won milestones, or accurately know when to say "you can do it." The company emphasizes that it is the supervision, encouragement, and professional knowledge provided by coaches that are key to transforming plans into results; whereas the role of Lumi is to eliminate tedious tasks, allowing members to devote more energy and coaches to focus on what is most important.

Use cases for Lumi:

Intelligent Guidance:FASTer Way gave an example of a member who, after completing strength training in the morning, took a photo of their lunch. Since Lumi was aware of their daily macronutrient goals and dietary restrictions, they recommended afternoon snacks and dinner recipes to help the member achieve their targets for protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake.

Easy to record:The company also gave an example, stating that a working parent only needs to enter one sentence describing the lunch of the day, and Lumi can identify the ingredients, estimate the portions, calculate the macronutrients, and automatically record the meal. There is no need for searching, guessing, or manual input.

FASTer Way Founder and CEO Amanda Tress stated: “Lumi is the most advanced technology we have ever delivered to our members, and I believe it is also the best tool in the fields of fitness and nutrition today. However, technology alone does not change lives; it is our coaches who truly do that, and nothing can replace them. What Lumi does is to provide an additional layer of resources and personalized support for every member and coach, allowing them to devote more effort to achieving results.”
