LabCentral, C10 Labs, and Innovation Centre Denmark Boston today announce the holding of the Entangled 2026 Summit, which will take place on November 19th at the The Platform in Kendall Square, Cambridge. The summit focuses on the question "How can the next breakthrough be achieved?" It will bring together leaders in artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, biotechnology, and other fields to discuss how advancements in AI and quantum computing can be combined with purposeful cross-industry collaboration to create new opportunities for scientific innovation and impact.
The name of this summit is derived from the phenomenon of quantum entanglement, where particles remain correlated regardless of the distance between them. The organizers believe that this principle also applies to scientific progress: scientific advancement does not occur in isolation.
This one-day summit will invite over 250 selected leaders from the fields of biotechnology, deep technology, investment, academia, and government, including approximately 50 representatives from Denmark. As AI and quantum computing reshape scientific research and drug discovery, Entangled will focus on the expertise, partnerships, and resources necessary to transform technological advancements into tangible scientific outcomes. The agenda will include a keynote speech by the CEO of QuNorth, Ebba Carbonnier, who will discuss the company's efforts to build one of the most powerful quantum computers in the world; there will also be a roundtable discussion involving Eric Paley, Eric Paley who is the Secretary for Federal Economic Development of Massachusetts, as well as discussions with leading researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry executives.
LabCentral, the head of scientific strategy and collaboration, Kamran Tavangar stated: "Massachusetts has long been a global leader in life science innovation, and the next chapter will be shaped by our willingness to embrace new technologies, as well as by how we can connect professional capabilities across disciplines, industries, and borders. As AI and quantum computing play an increasingly significant role in scientific discoveries, we have the opportunity to build upon the federal advantages to help entrepreneurs obtain the expertise and resources they need to transform breakthroughs in the lab into real-world applications."
C10 Labs, Co-Founder, CEO, and Managing Partner, and Shahid Azim stated: "The integration of AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology is bringing exciting opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. However, to realize this potential, having promising technologies alone is not enough. It is also necessary to connect scientific expertise, entrepreneurial talent, capital, and the right partners in order to build and expand the next generation of innovative companies. Entangled is our vision for bringing these communities together and helping to establish long-term relationships that go beyond the summit itself."
Innovation Centre Denmark Boston Science Specialist Bjarke Stoltze Kaspersen states: "The future of scientific innovation depends more than ever on our ability to collaborate across disciplines, industries, and international borders. With Denmark's increasing investment in quantum technology, and both Denmark and Massachusetts having strong life sciences ecosystems, there is great potential to connect researchers, businesses, and innovation leaders to drive scientific discoveries forward."
The agenda for 2026 will include discussions on building the AI and a quantum innovation ecosystem, leveraging emerging technologies to bring scientific discoveries to practical impact, assessing investment potential, and advancing drug discovery through collaboration between startups, academia, and the pharmaceutical industry. The event will conclude with a digital poster exhibition, showcasing over 20 startups, research teams, and deep-tech organizations.
