Financing round supported by Merchant Seven and a group of private investors

São Paulo, Brazil, November 2nd / PRNewswire / -- PropHub, a professional technology provider for brokers, proprietary trading firms, and crypto platforms, announced today the completion of a round of strategic venture capital financing led by Merchant Seven and a group of private investors. The funds will be used to expand PropHub's product suite, advance its market expansion capabilities, and accelerate international adoption.

PropHub CEO Gabriel Kassouf stated: "Combinability is the direction of development for the transaction industry. The next generation of platform builders will assemble their businesses from top-tier components, covering both traditional markets and on-chain markets. We hope that PropHub will become the underlying platform that makes this new frontier possible."

Launching a brokerage firm, proprietary trading company, or trading platform traditionally meant having to piece together various components from different suppliers, including the front-end, dashboards, CRM, back-end, risk control tools, payment systems, and reporting systems, while also continuously maintaining each of these integrations. PropHub replaces this piecemeal approach with a single set of modular products and functional stacks. Operators can start with a single set of tools or opt for a customized turnkey solution, and each product is accessible through a unified REST and WebSocket API.

The founders of PropHub, Gabriel Kassouf, CPO Felipe Vella, and CTO Rafael Viveiros, each possess over a decade of experience in the fields of trading and investment, bringing firsthand knowledge from their involvement in daily trading operations. This experience has enabled them to create a product suite that can be put into use on the very first day by operators.

Kassouf added, "We have been working on the business operations side for many years and understand how much time and capital it takes to set up technology that is supposed to be ready to use out of the box. Brokers, proprietary trading firms, and exchanges should not have to piece together technologies from a dozen different suppliers just to serve their customers. PropHub is a one-time combinable technology stack that allows customers to go live in just a few days and can continue to be expanded over the coming years."

Through the Harbor project, PropHub will obtain capital, and will also receive support from the pre-deployment engineers of M7 (FDEs); these senior operational personnel will be directly integrated into the portfolio companies. M7 has introduced this model because the talent constraints faced by the industry are increasingly severe; it is becoming more and more difficult to recruit top professionals in the field of trading technology, especially for young companies competing with established firms that already have a foothold.

Merchant Seven Founder and Managing Partner Pierce Crosby stated: "Recruiting world-class trading technology talent has never been so difficult, and this gap is holding back too many outstanding young companies. The founder of PropHub brings rare operational experience, as well as a complete product that covers brokerage, proprietary trading, and the crypto market."

PropHub has established an ecosystem composed of three core vertical fields, each of which can be provided as a white-label platform or a customized turnkey solution:

  • Broker: Provides comprehensive brokerage services under the operator's own brand, including trading platform deployment, CRM, back-office operations, market-making/trading risk control, as well as payment integration for deposits and withdrawals.
  • Proprietary trading companies: An end-to-end operating system for proprietary trading firms, covering trader onboarding and KYC, challenge engines, automated payments and profit sharing, alliance attribution, business intelligence, fraud detection, and order flow hedging. Delivered through modules such as Prop OS, RiskOps, PropOversight, and FlowManager.
  • Encryption: Based on the infrastructure of decentralized exchanges (DEX) that are white-labeled by Hyperliquid and other exchanges, it covers perpetual contracts, spot trading, tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), and prediction markets. It also provides operators with an entry-level experience that is close to Web2 through embedded self-managed wallets, on-chain settlement, and a protocol-native revenue layer.

During the advancement of the Harbor project, PropHub will expand its product suite around these three vertical fields, establish a replicable market entry engine, build channel and distribution partnerships, and enter new international markets beyond Latin America.

The Wall Street 'Panic Index' Shows Abnormal Behavior: What Does This Mean for the Stock Market?
Last Friday, U.S. stocks recorded their worst weekly performance since June, but many options market analysts noted that the reaction in the options market was unusually calm. Although VIX rose to a level not seen since April during trading, it fell back to 19.4 at the close. Analysts said that in the face of a nearly 2% decline in the S&P 500 on that day, the increase in VIX was relatively modest, and investors were not very active in buying protective put options on the Nasdaq and S&P 500.
