Alchemy Pay has integrated its fiat-to-cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency-to-fiat payment services into Walt, enabling users in 173 countries and regions to directly buy and sell supported cryptocurrencies through this application based on Telegram.
- Alchemy Pay has integrated its fiat payment service with Walt, allowing users in 173 countries and regions to directly buy and sell supported cryptocurrencies through the Telegram app.
- This integration supports over 50 fiat currencies and more than 300 payment channels, including Visa, Mastercard, mobile wallets, and local bank transfers.
- Walt was previously known as Wallet, in, and Telegram. It has now expanded its services to cover more than 300 types of cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, and perpetual futures trading.
- Prior to this collaboration, Alchemy Pay had already completed integration with The Open Network, and expanded into the fields of encrypted wallets and tokenized investment services.
According to the company's announcement on November 3rd, this integration connects its payment infrastructure with Walt. Walt is a digital asset platform supported by The Open Platform. With this integration, users will be able to use traditional payment methods without leaving the application.
Users can purchase or sell supported cryptocurrencies through Visa, Mastercard, mobile wallets, and local bank transfers, depending on the payment options available in their respective markets.
Alchemy Pay currently supports over 50 fiat currencies and more than 300 payment channels, covering both local and international payment networks.
This service handles both deposit and withdrawal transactions: A deposit refers to users purchasing cryptocurrencies with fiat currency, while a withdrawal allows users to exchange supported digital assets back into traditional currency.
For users with the identifier Walt, this integration provides a direct way to purchase cryptocurrencies without the need to buy them on other exchanges first and then transfer the assets to the application.
Walt expands encryption services within Telegram
This app was previously known as Wallet, in, and Telegram. On September 28, 2026, it was renamed Walt. Initially, it was mainly used for purchasing and holding Bitcoin and Toncoin, but later it evolved into a platform that supports a variety of digital assets.
According to previous reports by crypto.news, Walt supports over 300 cryptocurrencies on four different blockchains, of which more than 200 assets are available for trading.
Its services include income products, tokenized stocks, exchange-traded funds, precious metals, as well as perpetual futures contracts covering cryptocurrencies and other assets.
Walt Founder and CEO Andrew Rogozov outlined the company's product development plan, stating that they will launch encrypted cards and artificial intelligence tools.
On October 20th, Walt launched the AI trading feature for sustainable futures, allowing users to interact with this trading function through the AI assistant, which includes ChatGPT, Claude, and Mira.
According to the company, this feature allows connected AI proxies to check market information, view open positions, and execute trades based on user instructions.
Prior to this, Walt launched perpetual futures trading in April through Lighter, bringing leveraged trading products into the Telegram application.
Earlier in February, the platform expanded its decentralized financial services through an account product, offering on-chain earnings opportunities for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.
What is the difference between Walt and Telegram wallets?
Telegram's own non-hosted wallet is now known as Money, which is developed by the Telegram team; whereas Walt operates independently under The Open Platform.
Money is mainly used for basic cryptocurrency trading and payments, where users have control over their digital assets.
Unlike the unmanaged products of Telegram, Walt provides managed services, where the platform manages users' private keys.
According to the support documentation for Walt, users can access this application through the account Telegram @ walt. Meanwhile, the previous address @ wallet will continue to direct users to this service.
After the brand name change, existing customers will retain their balances, transaction history, and wallet addresses. There is no need to create a new account or to go through verification again.
The company stated that these two wallet services can run in parallel, and Walt also provides a way for users to top up their Telegram native wallet.
Alchemy Pay Continues previous encrypted payment cooperation
In September 2024, Alchemy Pay launched an encrypted payment service through The Open Network. The Open Network is a blockchain ecosystem related to Telegram. Before reaching the latest agreement with Walt, Alchemy Pay had already begun to make arrangements within this ecosystem.
In March 2025, Alchemy Pay collaborated with Ledger to integrate their payment services into Ledger Live, allowing users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies using traditional payment methods within both desktop and mobile applications.
In September 2025, Alchemy Pay and xStocks collaborated to launch a tokenized investment platform that offers investment channels for over 60 tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds.
This service supports the purchase of fractional shares starting from $1, with payment methods including bank transfers, credit cards, and mobile payment services.
In the latest announcement, the company stated that it holds 19 licenses for US remittance services and possesses regulatory licenses and registration qualifications covering markets in Southeast Asia, South Korea, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
