Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said that President Trump will suffer a crushing defeat in the midterms on Tuesday.
The founder, SkyBridge Capital, stated in the program Squawk Box Europe on CNBC that voters are dissatisfied, as Trump has not fulfilled his promises regarding affordability, ending long-term wars, and releasing the Epstein documents.
Scaramucci stated that this has already caused some supporters of MAGA to shift their allegiance, and warned that a civil war within the Republican Party could erupt after the voting is over. He also expressed his pessimistic view regarding the prospects of a breakthrough in the Iran conflict.
The White House has not responded, but it has previously ignored Skarmucci. Skarmucci held that position for 10 days in 2017.
A survey last month, CNBC, found that 65% of respondents did not approve of Trump's approach to the economy. The prediction market gives Democrats about a 75% chance of winning the Senate, but this cannot replace public opinion polls.
