INSM associates each network anomaly with detailed asset information; Risk Signal ™ then transforms these results into verified remedial actions.

Munich, November 6, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Key infrastructure OT Cybersecurity leader Industrial Defender announced today the release of its latest platform, offering internal cybersecurity monitoring ( INSM ) and Risk Signal ™ features to operators across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The new version combines Industrial Defender's comprehensive endpoint visibility with network traffic monitoring, providing OT / ICS operators with a unified process from detection to prioritized repair.

The platform refers to globally recognized frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST CSF. For enterprises that wish to enhance their security posture in accordance with EU NIS2 directives and regional regulations such as the Saudi National Cybersecurity Agency's "Operational Technical Cybersecurity Controls" ( OTCC ), the company states that this platform can provide the necessary continuous visibility and risk-based action capabilities for mature OT security projects.

Industrial Defender CEO George Kalavantis stated: "Network monitoring will tell you that something has changed. Our customers need to know what this change means and what they should do next."

INSM will capture the basic communication patterns of each device and mark any deviations, such as new connections, unexpected protocols, abnormal traffic volumes, and unknown devices.

Each exception will be compared with the asset data maintained by Industrial Defender, which includes configuration changes, vulnerabilities, and risk scores, enabling operators to immediately identify the impact on their operations.

Each review decision will record the name of the reviewer, a timestamp, and the reasons for the decision.

INSM will be applied in industrial environments such as energy, oil and gas, petrochemical processing, water services, and manufacturing.

Risk Signal: Prioritize fixing truly important issues.

The detection has only completed half of the work.

Risk Signal transforms insights into assets, vulnerabilities, and network aspects into concrete actions.

Based on each customer's existing risk model, it identifies the patches and upgrade solutions that can achieve the greatest risk reduction with minimal operational disruption, and compiles them into a prioritized operation manual for use within the existing work management system.

After the repairs are completed, Risk Signal will verify whether each patch has been applied and update the risk rating of the assets.

Kalavantis signifies: "Our platform now connects online activities with the asset information we have been continuously building over the past two decades, while Risk Signal transforms these insights into a set of well-founded action plans. This represents the shortest path for critical infrastructure to move from gaining visibility to reducing risks."
