IT News on November 6th: Technology media 9to5Mac reported today (November 6th) that during the latest financial report conference call of Liberty Media, the parent company of Formula One racing (F1), F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali (Stefano Domenicali) stated that Apple's exclusive streaming partnership with American F1 has received a positive response. Once copyright opportunities arise in other markets, Apple is expected to participate in bidding.
Since this year, Apple has obtained the exclusive streaming rights for F1 in the United States. All preliminary matches can be watched live and on demand through Apple TV. Domenicalli clearly stated that both parties are pleased with the cooperation in the U.S. and expects Apple to enter more markets when opportunities arise.

However, F1 does not intend to hand over global copyright to a single platform. The alliance previously stated that it prefers to select the most suitable media partners in different regions to form a combined licensing approach.
Liberty Media The CEO, Derek Chang, also believes that Apple, as a potential bidder in other markets, can help F1 gain more leverage in product innovation and business negotiations.
According to public information from the IT website, Tencent first became a digital media partner of F1 in China in 2018, broadcasting through platforms such as Tencent Sports, Tencent Video, and QQ. During the 2022 season, Tencent did not renew its contract, and China Telecom briefly obtained the rights to stream some of those matches.
Tencent renewed its digital broadcasting rights for the 2023–2024 season in 2023, and then extended the contract to the 2027 season in 2025. As a result, Tencent continues to hold the exclusive digital media broadcasting rights in Mainland China.
