INSM associates each network anomaly with detailed asset information; Risk Signal ™ then transforms these results into verified corrective measures.

Munich, November 6, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Industrial cybersecurity company Industrial Defender today announced the launch of the latest version of its platform, featuring new internal cybersecurity monitoring ( INSM ) and Risk Signal ™, aimed at operators in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This version combines the in-depth visualization of Industrial Defender for terminals with network traffic monitoring, providing OT / ICS operators with a single path from detection to prioritized repair.

This platform complies with globally recognized standards, including IEC 62443 and NIST CSF. For organizations that are strengthening their security posture in accordance with regional requirements such as the EU's SRI 2 directive and the control measures (OTCC) imposed by the Saudi Arabian National Cybersecurity Agency (NCA) regarding operational technologies, this platform can provide the necessary continuous visibility and risk-based action capabilities for mature OT security projects.

Industrial Defender CEO George Kalavantis stated: "Network monitoring will tell you that some change has occurred. Our customers need to know what this means and what the next steps are."

INSM will analyze the baseline communication of each device and mark abnormal situations such as new connections, unexpected protocols, abnormal traffic, and unknown devices.

Each exception will be associated with the asset data managed by Industrial Defender, which includes configuration changes, vulnerabilities, and risk scores, so that operators can immediately understand their operational impact.

Each evaluation decision will record the name of the evaluator, a timestamp, and the reasons for it.

INSM is suitable for industrial environments such as energy, oil and gas, petrochemical processing, water services, and manufacturing.

Risk Signal: Fix the most important issues first.

Only half of the work has been completed.

Risk Signal will transform findings regarding assets, vulnerabilities, and network aspects into actionable steps.

Based on each customer's existing risk model, it identifies the repair and upgrade measures that can achieve the greatest risk reduction with the least amount of operational work, and then organizes them into a prioritized action plan that can be used within the existing ticket management system.

After the repairs are completed, Risk Signal will verify whether each repair has been implemented and update the risk rating of that asset.

Kalavantis means: 'Our platform now connects online activities with the asset information we have established over the past 20 years, and Risk Signal transforms this information into a defensible plan. This is the shortest path from better visibility to reduced risks in critical infrastructure.'

Encrypted 401(k) rules enter final review at the White House
The U.S. Department of Labor has submitted the final rules regarding alternative investments in retirement plans to the White House for review. This framework may make it easier for employers to offer exposure to crypto assets through 401(k) accounts. OIRA has received these rules and marked them as pending review. The rules cover six factors that trustees should consider when choosing alternative investment options. The article also mentions that U.S. 401(k) plans held $10.8 trillion in assets at the end of June; Sweep estimates that if 2% of this amount flowed into digital assets, the total would reach $216 billion.
