The USDD stablecoin, backed by Tron founder Justin Sun, has officially launched natively on the Ethereum blockchain.

The move, announced on Monday, marks a significant expansion beyond its native TRON network, with the aim of leveraging Ethereum's large user base and DeFi ecosystem.

To celebrate the launch, the team has promised an exclusive airdrop for early users and announced plans for sUSDD, a savings version that will allow users to earn interest.

A key feature on Ethereum will be the Peg Stability Module (PSM), designed to allow users to mint and exchange USDD for other major stablecoins, such as USDT and USDC, with minimal slippage, promoting liquidity and price stability from the outset.
