AMD收购AI芯片初创公司Taalas，推动数据中心增长

币界网消息，AMD宣布已达成协议收购位于多伦多的初创公司Taalas，该公司专注于为推理开发定制芯片。Taalas的加速器专为单一AI模型定制，承诺提供比传统GPU更快的输出。自2023年成立以来，Taalas已筹集2.19亿美元风险资金。此次收购是在NVIDIA以200亿美元收购高性能AI芯片设计公司Groq后的七个月内完成。AMD CEO Lisa Su表示，尽管GPU仍将占据AI芯片市场的主要份额，但公司正在整合Taalas的技术，以增强其产品线。
