According to CoinMeta, Kazakhstani Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev met with Zhao Changpeng, the founder of Binance, on September 4th. The two sides discussed cooperation in digital assets, computing infrastructure, and innovative payments. During the meeting, the Kazakh side introduced projects such as the collaboration between Cryptocity, Data Center Valley, and Binance Pay in Almaty with local banks, and signed two memorandums of understanding with relevant institutions. The contents of these memorandums include promoting the issuance of stablecoins in Kazakhstan, developing digital asset payment infrastructure, and improving the related tax and judicial frameworks.
