2026-09-08 14:38:55
According to CoinMeta, Crons confirmed that after the Tectonic attack, there was still $9.19 million that had not been recovered. On August 30th, the attacker borrowed $120.4 million from Tectonic, and subsequently, the validators of Crons reversed approximately $111.2 million of the affected value through a rollback operation. The rollback operation discarded 10,961 blocks, representing 1 hour and 54 minutes of transaction history. Crons stated that after the rollback, there was still $9.19 million in funds that had been transferred before the attack and could not be recovered. This incident led to the suspension of the blockchain of Crons after the attack, which was eventually restored to its state before the attack.
