Bithumb appoints Kim Ki-fan as the new CEO

According to CoinMeta, as reported by news1, Kim Ki-fan, the former person in charge of external cooperation at Bithumb, has been appointed as the new CEO by Bithumb Holdings, the controlling shareholder of Bithumb, South Korea's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange. Lee Jae-won, who previously held positions at both Bithumb and Bithumb Holdings CEO, will step down from his Holdings role to focus on the operation of Bithumb. Bithumb Holdings, which holds approximately 73% of the shares in the company, stated that Kim Ki-fan will be responsible for external communications and compliance management at the holding company level in order to adapt to changes in South Korea's virtual asset regulatory environment.
