According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Wintermute released its latest market report stating that last week's U.S. non-farm data was stronger than expected, driving the expectation of a rate hike in September to nearly 60%. BTC once fell below $80,000 from $82,400, but still rose by 3.45% for the week and closed above $80,000. Wintermute believes that in an environment where interest rate expectations are on the hawkish side, BTC has performed significantly better than in similar historical periods, indicating that crypto assets are benefiting from the return of funds from other sectors and a shift of some capital from stocks and gold to the crypto market. BTC saw net inflows of approximately $987 million last week, the third consecutive week of net inflows, with a total of nearly $3.8 billion over three weeks. ETF had net inflows of about $215 million last week. Wintermute noted that in the short term, the focus is on whether BTC can break through $82,000; if it falls below $72,000 and ETF shows a clear negative shift in capital flows, then the current assessment needs to be re-evaluated.
