CryptoQuant Analyst: Large-scale deposits into exchanges did not surge during Bitcoin's rebound period
2026-09-09 17:29:27
According to CoinMeta, analyst woominkyu pointed out that Bitcoin closed at $78,450 on September 8, continuing the rebound from around $60,000 during the summer, yet there was no corresponding surge in large-scale deposits into spot exchanges. Before September 8, the top ten spot exchanges saw an inflow of 5,442 BTC, which is 4.4 times higher than the previous day but only 5.1% above the 30-day average. The seven-day average inflow was 4,678 BTC, lower than several peaks seen earlier this year. The recent price rebound has not been accompanied by a significant increase in large-scale deposit activities, and there is limited evidence of persistent selling pressure from large transfers.
