According to CoinMeta, Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi stated that after Robinhood Chain increased gas and limit while reducing user transaction fees, the on-chain revenue significantly declined. However, the trading volume of DEX remained strong and is currently second in the entire network, only behind Solana. Haseeb believes that this is not an operational mistake, but rather a deliberate decision by Robinhood to reduce short-term sequencer transaction fee revenue in exchange for higher on-chain capacity, lower transaction costs, and more RWA as well as on-chain financial activities.
