CoinMeta data: The Arc blockchain of Circle was officially launched on Wednesday, becoming a project supported by 11 founding validators including BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, and DTCC. On the first day, it processed 7.83 million transactions, but there were almost no payment transactions. According to the BlockScout data from Arc, the lifetime number of transfers on this blockchain is approximately 624,000, with about 400,000 new accounts added on the first day, and over 73,000 contracts deployed. The average fee quadrupled to three cents. Although the performance of the blockchain was normal, some traders are pessimistic about its prospects due to memecoins occupying blocks.
