Chainalysis Report: Open-source AI model leads to a 440% surge in cases of malicious software instructions on the blockchain

According to CoinMeta, a report by Chainalysis indicates that since the launch of the security-unrestricted open-source AI model in China mid-last year, cases of inserting malware instructions into on-chain transactions and smart contracts have surged by approximately 440% in less than a year, with the average number of cases per day rising from about 2 to about 11. Attackers use blockchain, dead, and drop to leave malware control instructions on the chain, instructing them to steal information, passwords, or funds and transfer them to designated addresses, and these records on the blockchain are difficult to delete. Hacker groups supported by countries such as North Korea and Iran have become the main perpetrators of such activities. (Source: Bloomberg)
