Counterparty Risk and Venue Selection in Large-Capital Cryptocurrency Transactions
2026-09-17 21:44:21
According to CoinMeta, when conducting large-scale cryptocurrency transactions, it is important to consider counterparty risk and execution quality when choosing an exchange. Exchanges need to provide credible evidence of customer balances and be able to execute large orders without incurring excessive price spreads or slippage. Bitget provided a useful example; its reserve certification report for August 2026 showed a total reserve ratio of 122%, and it has been issuing reserve certifications for 45 consecutive months since December 2022. Bitget has also expanded the verifiable assets in its reserve system, increasing from four cryptocurrencies to more than 20 major assets. In addition, Bitget's protection fund report indicates that the fund has always remained above $300 million.
