Crypto.com Promotes 24/7 Stock Trading, May Introduce NVIDIA Perpetual Contracts
2026-09-18 01:46:56
According to CoinMeta, Crypto.com is pushing forward the trading of perpetual contracts for U.S. stocks to adapt to regulatory authorities' preparations for extending trading hours on Wall Street. The U.S. regulatory Nadex exchange of Crypto.com has registered with SEC to trade securities and futures products, with the registration taking effect on September 14th. CEO Kris Marszalek stated that the company is also collaborating with SEC and CFTC to plan to launch perpetual contracts for individual stocks to U.S. traders. Although registration does not mean that the NVIDIA perpetual contracts have been approved or are available, this development indicates that Crypto.com is making deeper inroads into the U.S. stock derivatives market. Meanwhile, SEC held a six-hour roundtable meeting specifically discussing the preparations for 24-hour U.S. stock trading, which covered issues such as overnight liquidity, monitoring, settlement, and network security. Although traditional U.S. stocks still operate within defined trading hours, the demand for overnight trading is growing.
