IOG also issued a separate warning, asking users to avoid interacting with their YouTube channel until further notice. The channel had previously live-streamed a version of Hoskinson that appeared to be controlled by AI, promoting cryptocurrency giveaways and claiming that viewers could “double” their holdings of cryptocurrencies. Users should regard all videos, QR codes, and external links related to the affected channels as potential dangers.
