Bitcoin rebounds by 1%, ETF demand support needs to recover
2026-09-30 16:31:43
CoinMeta data: Bitcoin has fallen by 1% in the past 24 hours, but its recovery remains within a broader consolidation range following the recent rise above $85,000. The market interprets this pullback as a profit-taking move, although ongoing inflow of institutional funds supports a bullish outlook. Analysts expect personal consumption expenditure price index (PCE) to increase by 0.4% month-on-month in August, while GDP growth for the second quarter is projected at 1.5%. If inflation data exceeds expectations, it could increase expectations for more restrictive monetary policies, thereby putting pressure on Bitcoin's recovery. Nevertheless, institutional demand remains a supporting force against these macroeconomic risks. According to CoinMeta data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF has seen net inflows of approximately $3 billion over the past eight trading days, indicating that investors are still allocating capital during Bitcoin's pullback period.
