According to CoinMeta, Clio recently acquired startup Learned Hand, which focuses on developing artificial intelligence tools for judges and legal assistants. This acquisition is aimed at helping Clio deepen its presence in the court market and meet the growing work demands of judges. The founder and CEO of Clio, Jack Newton, stated that with the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence, the workload of judges will further increase. The founder of Learned Hand, Shlomo Klapper, previously worked at Palantir and raised approximately $5 million before founding his own company. The specific amount of this transaction has not yet been disclosed.
