According to CoinMeta, after the setback in the Senate voting on the CLARITY bill, Stand With Crypto ( SWC ) announced a list of its first batch of supported senators, including Republican Senator Jon Husted from Ohio, as well as candidates from Iowa Ashley Hinson and New Hampshire Chris Pappas. Previously, on September 15th, the U.S. Senate was unable to advance the CLARITY Act bill in a procedural vote. SWC Executive Director Mason Lynaugh stated that the organization will shift more of its focus to elections after this vote and announced an expansion of support and advertising efforts for some House of Representatives candidates. The organization has previously indicated that it will take into account the performance of these senators in the key CLARITY Act votes when evaluating candidates.
