According to CoinMeta, the stablecoin projects open and usd have been launched on Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Tempo. open and standard target payment, banking, settlement, and institutional transactions as their use cases. coinbase, MasterCard, Shopify, Stripe, and Visa have become the first batch of founding partners and investors of open and standard, each receiving an equal initial stake in the company. The CEO of open and standard, Zach Abrams, stated that the majority of the company's equity will ultimately be distributed based on the contributions of the founding partners and other collaborators to the supply and transaction activity of OUSD. The company's partner network has grown from over 140 firms to over 200, with new members including UBS Group, Japan's SBI Holdings, and fintech company Jeeves.
