CoinMeta Data: Cloudflare recently announced a new tool that allows businesses to use stablecoins (such as USDC) to pay for AI proxy services. This tool, called the “Monetization Gateway,” is designed to simplify the payment process for AI proxies when accessing online services, eliminating the need for users to manually enter credit card information or subscribe to services. The feature is currently in a closed testing phase for buyers and sellers in the United States and is expected to be widely launched at the beginning of 2027. Cloudflare’s product manager, Rohin Lohe, stated that more features and users will be added gradually in the future. This move is part of Cloudflare’s broader effort to promote the AI proxy payment system, with the aim of utilizing stablecoins as programmable currencies to facilitate the commercialization of AI proxies.
