According to CoinMeta, after Bitcoin's inflation data for personal consumption expenditure in the United States in August ( PCE ) on Wednesday fell short of expectations, it briefly rose to $85,600 before falling back to $84,350. In the derivatives market, $55 million in short positions and $27 million in long positions were liquidated within four hours of the data release.
