According to CoinMeta, Google announced on Wednesday the launch of its first Gemini 4 AI model – Argon, calling it “the next era of cutting-edge intelligence.” This model performs exceptionally well in areas such as coding, network security defense, and corporate knowledge work in legal and financial fields. Google stated that Argon is competitive with Google’s OpenAI’s Astra model in terms of network security. Google plans to provide Argon to its trusted partners in the Fairwind project for testing new models and resolving network security vulnerabilities. Google also mentioned that Argon scored highest alongside OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra model in CWE-Bench tests and set a new high in actual, long-duration engineering tasks.
