According to CoinMeta, Micron Technology (MU.O) exceeded market expectations with its revenue guidance for Q4 of the fiscal year 2026, forecasted to reach $54.229 billion, compared to $11.315 billion in the same period last year and a market expectation of $50.584 billion. Micron also provided sales forecasts for the current quarter that surpassed expectations, driven by the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which has created unprecedented demand. The company expects revenue in the first quarter of the next fiscal year to be around $60 billion to $63 billion, while analysts on average predict $56.8 billion. After deducting certain items, the expected earnings per share are $38.15, versus a forecast of $36.02. Following the release of the report, the stock price rose by less than 1% in after-hours trading. Analysts at Morgan Stanley stated that the market conditions remain very favorable in the short term, with strong demand and rising prices being evident. The focus of discussion has shifted from how well things can go to how long this positive trend can be sustained.
