Voting results show that over 99% of votes supported this plan, and BIP-928 was approved, establishing the protocol’s shutdown process. However, the proposed fork BIP-929 did not pass. Liquidity providers can continue to withdraw their funds before the final shutdown phase begins. Balancer indicates that the pool will continue to operate normally until October 30th, and liquidity providers can withdraw their funds at any time. It is expected that the first round of financial distribution will be available by the end of May 2027, and holders will be able to exchange for financial funds in proportion.
