According to CoinMeta, Amazon has developed an emergency plan named "Project Aurelian" to address the tense negotiations with the United States Postal Service (USPS). The plan aims to reduce reliance on carriers by establishing new delivery warehouses and local partnerships, and is expected to cover approximately 39,400 US postal codes by 2029, meeting 99.9% of customer needs. An Amazon spokesperson stated that the forecasts in the document are preliminary and may change. Nevertheless, Amazon still plans to continue cooperating with USPS in the future, considering there to be a "mutual dependence" between the two parties.
