According to CoinMeta, the Philippine Central Bank has announced restrictions on peso transfers to Coins.ph via Instapay and Pesonet. Despite these restrictions, payments from merchants using Coins.ph can still be made through QRPH. The restriction mainly affects users who wish to top up their peso wallets at Coins.ph from external banks or other electronic wallets, but users can still transfer funds from Coins.ph to external Philippine bank accounts and electronic wallets. The status page for Coins.ph indicates that the cash top-up services for Instapay and Pesonet are currently under maintenance, while their crypto trading, spot trading, and withdrawal transfer services are still operating normally.
