HPE and Vultr reach a $1.2 billion order to test the AI network strategy

According to CoinMeta, Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) has reached a $1.2 billion order with cloud service provider Vultr, marking an early commercial success for its AMD AI system and testing whether the AI network can become a business with faster growth and higher profits. This order was announced on HPE's Network Investors Day and includes HPE network expansion switches and software. HPE has raised its network revenue growth forecast for the 2027 fiscal year to the high end of 14% to 17%, with an expected reach of 20%. HPE has doubled its network supply procurement commitments in the latest quarter to ensure capacity and to convert backlogs into revenue. HPE expects that by the 2026 fiscal year, the cumulative orders for the AI network will exceed $3 billion.
