According to CoinMeta, former Disney CEO Bob Chapek stated that he should not have accepted the position at Disney CEO and referred to himself as a "victim of a conspiracy by Bob Iger." Chapek supports the current CEO Josh D and Amaro, calling his promotion "appropriate." He advised D' Amaro to avoid a cultural war and said that if he could go back in time, he would simply refuse the position. Chapek's tenure was short and tumultuous, during which there were conflicts with his predecessor CEO Iger. Chapek feels that he was left with a "tattoo of legacy" and mentioned that the board of directors made a quick decision in support of Iger who hopes to regain the position. Chapek is currently working on reshaping his reputation through a new book, which details his experiences at Disney and the drama surrounding his departure.
