According to CoinMeta, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated on October 1st local time that Iran would not avoid dialogue with the United States. U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that there is a possibility of increasing pressure on Iran after the mid-term elections in the U.S. Raisi said that Iran has never avoided dialogue with the U.S. side; in fact, it is the U.S. side that has not sought to engage in dialogue with Iran. He mentioned that Iran is currently weighing the response to the U.S.'s latest proposals. The Iranian side had previously stated that they had received a formal response from the U.S. regarding their latest proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
