GPTZero: From Princeton student to a $30 million AI detection business

According to CoinMeta, GPTZero founder Edward Tian ( Edward Tian ) created this AI detection tool during the winter break at Princeton University. In just four years, the number of users has exceeded 20 million, and the annual revenue has reached 30 million US dollars. The company was acquired by Superhuman in 2024, with a transaction valuation of over 88 million US dollars, and investors achieved at least 10 times their return. Tian stated that he originally hoped to become a journalist, but the success of GPTZero changed the trajectory of his career.
