AMLBot: Bitget Attackers are suspected of confusing Ethereum with Arbitrum, resulting in about $700,000 in assets being blocked

According to CoinMeta, the blockchain anti-money laundering platform AMLBot indicates that Bitget attackers seemingly confused Ethereum with Arbitrum twice during the process of transferring stolen funds, resulting in about $700,000 in assets being blocked. Approximately $267,000 was sent to the wrong chain’s Chainflip deposit channel, and the related addresses were subsequently blacklisted by Circle. Another amount of about $1.6 million ($BJWKEEP_00008__) was bridged to Arbitrum and then sent to a channel that exists only on Ethereum; currently, the funds are stuck in that state. AMLBot believes that these two transactions may have been executed by automated scripts.
