Real-world asset perpetual contract trading volume hits a record high of $2.57 trillion

CoinMeta data: According to cryptorank data, in the third quarter of 2026, the trading volume of real-world asset ( RWA ) perpetual contracts reached 2.57 trillion US dollars, setting a new historical high, more than doubling from approximately 1.27 trillion US dollars in the second quarter. In August alone, the trading volume reached 957 billion US dollars. By platform, Binance topped the list with a quarterly trading volume of about 1.22 trillion US dollars, accounting for nearly half of the total. During the same period, over 80% of the related trading volume came from centralized exchanges.
