According to CoinMeta, the model Griffin AI launched by Tavus successfully led 26 participants to believe they were conversing with real humans during video calls, making it the first model to pass the Turing Test for video. The company claims that the design of Griffin AI allows it to read users' tone and non-verbal cues in real-time, enhancing the interactive experience with humans. Hassaan Raza, co-founder and CEO of Tavus, believes that machines can communicate effectively with humans through expression, tone, and timing. Griffin AI scored 3.83 in the video benchmark test conducted by NVIDIA, close to the 3.92 score of human reference recordings.
