Bitcoin Returns to $87,000 Due to Weak U.S. Employment Data

CoinMeta data: Bitcoin broke through the $87,000 mark again on Friday, mainly driven by weak U.S. employment reports. The latest macroeconomic data significantly weakened market expectations for the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates again this month. According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin prices soared from around $86,000 to a intraday high of nearly $87,250. The U.S. economy only created 29,000 new jobs in September, far below analysts' expected 90,000. At the same time, the unemployment rate rose from 4.1% to 4.2%. The cooling of the labor market is good news for Bitcoin, as it makes it more difficult for the Federal Reserve to further tighten monetary policy.
