2026-10-03 02:45:49
According to CoinMeta, DTCC (a custodian, trust, and clearing company) announced that it will officially launch tokenization services in October 2026. These services will directly migrate the settlement infrastructure onto the blockchain, handling approximately $4.7 trillion in securities transactions each year. DTCC adopts a dual-chain strategy, prioritizing institutional-level reliability, and will also join the Stellar network in the future, indicating that the future of finance will be multi-chain rather than single-chain. This launch has attracted participation from over 50 institutions, including Blackstone, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, as well as NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange, highlighting the importance of this project. A no-action letter issued by SEC on December 11, 2025, laid the regulatory foundation for this transformation.
