According to CoinMeta, the private valuation of Anthropic has increased by 22 times since June 2024, far exceeding that of the Nasdaq 100 and NVIDIA, which saw a growth of about 10 times. Nevertheless, most investors are still unable to purchase shares of Anthropic, making its private valuation even more attractive. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the rapid growth of Anthropic reflects a boom in investment in the AI sector. The company completed a $13 billion financing in September 2025, with a valuation of $183 billion, and subsequently conducted additional financings in February and May 2026 with valuations of $380 billion and $965 billion respectively. Despite its rapid revenue growth, operating costs have also been increasing; the estimated revenue for 2025 is around $4.6 billion, with an operating loss of about $8.06 billion.
