NEAR Intents increases access to Bitcoin, DOGE, and XRP through Infinex
2026-10-05 02:26:06
CoinMeta Data: NEAR Intents has integrated NEAR chain signatures through Infinex, extending cross-chain access to assets such as Bitcoin, Doge Coin, and XRP. Users can access these assets through a unified cross-chain interface without the need to manually manage multiple bridges and wallets. NEAR indicates that chain signatures use a multi-party computation network protected by NEAR validators to authorize transactions on external chains. NEAR Intents currently connects to 31 chains and over 100 assets, with cross-chain settlements typically completing within 30 seconds. The system uses solvers to compete among networks and route user requests; users only need to specify the desired outcome, and the protocol will handle the routing. Documentation for NEAR lists examples from BTC to TON, XRP to Arbitrum, and DOGE to Base, demonstrating how assets from non-EVM networks can be introduced into other ecosystems through a single routing layer. The intended network of NEAR has reported a historical trading volume of over $30 billion, and the protocol describes it as a universal liquidity layer for wallets, DEFI applications, and AI proxies.
