Bitcoin is about to see its first major bullish signal in a year
2026-10-05 15:00:33
CoinMeta data: The current price of Bitcoin ( BTC ) is $86,199.69. Although it has fallen today, its overall trend indicates different signals. The simple moving averages for the past 50 days, 100 days, and 200 days are about to form a bullish arrangement, signaling upward trends in the short term, medium term, and long term. Such an arrangement would be the first time since 2025. The current 50-day average is $79,495, which is significantly higher than the other two averages, while the 100-day average is $79,493 and is on the rise, about to surpass the 200-day average of $79,539. Once this occurs, all three averages will present a bullish arrangement, showing bullish momentum across various time frames. Traders typically use moving averages to determine the direction of trends; when short-term averages are higher than long-term averages, it indicates that recent prices are stronger than historical prices, suggesting upward momentum.
