Visa and CoinShares Survey: Increased Interest among Asia-Pacific Consumers in Stablecoins

CoinMeta data: According to The Block, surveys conducted by Visa and CoinShares show that 46% of respondents in the Asia-Pacific region expect to use stablecoins within the next five years, with a usage rate of 16% in the past 12 months. 66% of respondents are aware of stablecoins, and 38% of those who do not use them are concerned about fraud. Additionally, a survey by CoinShares indicates that most wealthy investors in seven markets already hold digital assets, with Sweden at 54%, and the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany at 70%. These investors allocate about 10% of their portfolios to digital assets. 80% of digital asset investors hold Bitcoin, and at least 85% of existing investors plan to increase their exposure in 2026, while only 6% of investors are primarily focused on short-term trading.
