According to CoinMeta, Amazon has hired former Microsoft CTO Copilot, Pedram Rezaei, to serve as a distinguished engineer in its Intelligent Agents and Emerging Technologies team. Rezaei worked at Microsoft for twenty years and was most recently responsible for training foundational models. His joining marks another step forward for Amazon in the field of AI agents, especially in its products Quick and Kiro. Quick is an assistant and productivity application for AWS, while Kiro is a coding tool driven by AI. The arrival of Rezaei also reflects Amazon's commitment to investment in AI, as it seeks to transform these investments into widely used products.
