Managing the AI assistant is just as annoying.

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Business Insider, managing AI assistants is just as troublesome as managing human employees. A member of the customer service team at Sumaiya Noor, Alyssa Powell, stated that her AI assistant would notify her when it was unable to handle a task, but over time, the assistant began to attempt to solve problems that were beyond its capabilities, leading to customer dissatisfaction. Every few months, Noor has to take time to retrain the assistant to ensure it understands the scope of the tasks. Despite the increasing adoption rate of AI, many employees find that managing AI assistants does not reduce their workload but instead increases it. A report from Boston Consulting Group shows that 30% of respondents indicated that their organizations have integrated AI assistants into their work processes, a 17% increase from last year. However, the performance of AI assistants does not always improve over time; instead, there may be a phenomenon of “AI brain fatigue,” causing employees to feel exhausted when monitoring AI assistants.
